It may be a bit premature to predict the outcome of todays’ midterm primary elections, but given the unending stream of bad economic and environmental news and the generally sour mood of the electorate, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that incumbents, even if they eke out victories, are in big trouble, and that a variety of raging nutbags, who in normal times would attract scant attention, will probably end up garnering a fair share of the vote.

I think that already happened in the last election. The old saying what go’s arond comes around seems to fit. It will not be the end of the world. I am sure that deep in your heart you know that the house needs cleaning from both sides.
Why the vulgarity, Ed? Just a lapse?
It is sad that the Democrats blundered the first two years of the Obama administration. So much could have been accomplished, but the Democrats seem completely unable to get anything done. Certainly, the Republicans are worse, but its not hard to understand why people vote for them, because the Republicans at least deliver a consistent message, which the Democrats seem unable to do.
Environmental news these days are not so good, oil spills, oil leakages, etc.;~,

certainly, the environmental news theses days are not so good but there are other good news too like opening of new forest reserves ~-:
The electorate has been quite sour indeed! Now with the massive debt crisis the US is facing, I don’t see a way out for our nation. We’re going to collapse, there’s no doubt about it. Scary to think what will happen.
