Medical marijuana shops are cropping up all over the place. We all know, of course, that this is a total sham; it’s a way to legalize marijuana while pretending that we’re doing it for purely ethical reasons. We won’t admit that the prohibition of ganja was as effective as the prohibition of alcohol, so we save face this way. But why stop there? There are equally good uses for dope, and times like these call for a little creativity. Here’s one way to expand the use of marijuana, also for humanitarian purposes.

I hope it is soon completely Legalized. But I can tell you from personal experience that there is no better drug in the world for the relief of symptoms from Chemo. for Cancer. Even if people that do not really need it smoke most of the medical marijuana, the chance for people that do need it to be able to get it legally is very important. Too many of the laws today hurt the needy while punishing recreational, non-violent users. It is time to end prohibition for “Humanitarian Reasons”.

I have never tried it and don’t intend to, but I agree with you 100%. It cannot numb the senses anymore than alcohol or be any more addictive than nicotine, so why not make it legal. The government could tax it like cigarettes or booze, the people selling it would be paying income tax, it would save the court system money and it might even lower the crime rate a fraction. I do think a person should be 18 years of age to purchase it and that it should be policed the same as alcohol.
