TweetI did a short interview with a reporter from BBC’s The World Today this afternoon, which aired last night on KCFR, and continues to air today on BBC’s World Service. The subject, as you might have guessed, is the disappearing editorial cartoonist. Here’s a copy that was recorded for me from their web stream.

Thanks Ed for all your amazing years. Hopefully the best is yet to come.

Listened to you this Morning on BBC and I agree with you about all you said. It was Thomas Nast who brought down the Tammany Hall. That is exactly what I was thinking when he was interviewed. The cartoonist is a vital piece in the cog of criticism of the elite. The demise of this essential cog in the machine is another in a series of events that will bring about the downfall of our democracy.
Please keep up the good work Ed. We are all out there and enjoy your work.
