This is the last cartoon I’ll ever draw for the late great Rocky Mountain News. The oldest newspaper, and the longest continuously-operated business in Colorado, the Rocky folded after 150 years, the victim of the deep recession and the technological and societal changes that have rocked the entire industry.

So sad. :’( The Rocky was such a great paper.
I don’t think the Rocky was such a great paper anymore. It was getting a little hard to find the world/national news – the focus was on the local murders and muggings. Ed, however, was great.
Thank goodness for big favors. I have really missed the Rocky, and after one week of the Denver Post (or whatever it is called), I cancelled our subscription and subscribed to the Camera.
Rush Limbaugh should have a happy home in the only Denver newspaper available.
